Some of us even add rinsing with\nmouthwash to that routine. But does it matter what order you do these things\nin? That all depends on who you ask. A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.drljadam.com\/contact.html\">dentist<\/a> in Worthington, PA is\nhere to clear up the issue. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">According to the American Dental Association <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The American Dental Association, or the ADA, claims that the\norder in which you brush and use mouthwash doesn\u2019t matter. The ADA says that as\nlong as you use quality products for both steps, your teeth will benefit either\nway. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">According to the National Health Service <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The National Health Service has a different opinion. They\nsay that you can use mouthwash right after brushing if you use a fluoride rinse.\nHowever, be sure to not use a non-fluoride mouthwash immediately after\nbrushing. It can wash away the fluoride leftover on your teeth from the\ntoothpaste, so it basically defeats one of the main purposes of brushing your\nteeth, which is to strengthen your enamel with fluoride. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What Does Your Dentist in Worthington Say?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Your dentist would have to agree with what the National Health\nService has to say. You want as much fluoride to remain on your teeth as\npossible, which is why it\u2019s recommended to use both toothpaste and mouthwash\nwith fluoride as a main ingredient. It makes your teeth stronger and less\nvulnerable to cavities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Many of us rinse our mouths with water right after we use\nmouthwash, but most dental professionals will agree that it\u2019s a bad idea. You\u2019re\nwashing off the protective film on your teeth that you just applied with the\ntoothpaste. In addition, mouthwash continues to work long after you spit it\nout, strengthening your enamel and area of your teeth and gums that are hard to\nreach with a toothbrush and floss. Rinsing with water dilutes the mouthwash and\nremoves the benefits. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Taking proper care of our oral health is actually a lot more\ncomplicated than simply brushing, flossing, and using mouthwash every day!
